Christmas at Disney Land

Our surprise trip turned out to be quite the surprise until we pulled up to Uncle Kerry's house and Jaycee said, "dad, why are we at California again?" She thought that it was uncle Levi's house. She didn't even connect the California and Disney Land together. We had to tell her. Our plan worked!!! Anyway we had a blast. Loved how festive everything was, all the way to the snowmen caramel apples. The castle was breathetaking. It is so much easier keeping the kids warm rather then keeping them cool when we go in October. Anyslee was such an angel, as usual she is just along for the ride. And many rides she did go on!!! Driving wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be, aside from the 2 blown tires at 1 am which put our driving time to about 26 hours because obviously we only had one spare tire so we had to wait for the tire store to open the next morning. Roads were awesome all the way home!!!! Here are some pics, sorry it is so long but I wanted to share a lot of the christmas decor with you!!!!

My baby girl turns 5

Busy, busy, busy. I haven't blogged in a while and so I have a lot of catching up to do. It's late so I will just show some pics of Jaycee's birthday. On December 11 my oldest turned 5 years old and my baby girl Aynslee turned 5 months old. Sad for me, yet fun day for Jayc. She started off at school celebrating her special day, which just means that she was in the spotlight all day. We had everyone over for pizza, cake, and ice cream. She got some really cute and fun gifts. Thanks everyone who gave Jayc a fun birthday!!!

6 years and counting....

Click to play Anniversary
Create your own greeting - Powered by Smilebox

Here you have it ladies, six years and three little angles later. Every day flies by like there was no yesterday and every moment is cherished. Even through all the struggles and hard times, those are the ones that bring us closer. Marriage is like a really big roller coaster.....every time you go over a bump, you get butterflies and smile really big and laugh. Sometimes there is the unknown and you take a really sharp turn that takes your breathe away. And when it stops, you look back and think that it went by too darn fast.

Most of you already know how my husband bends over backwards for me. There isn't anything that he wouldn't do for me. He is the most selfless person I know. I admire him for putting his heart in everything that he does, and trying to impress me the whole way. Babe, I love you(and your cute balding head too LOL) Growing old with you makes me look forward to each day and smile and look backwards in sadness that time passes by so fast, but a good sadness because memories are made. Your girls have the best daddy ever and they let you know it by wrapping their cute little arms around you every day. XOXOXOXO Cheers to us and our future!

My Amazing Wife

Okay so i have no clue what i am doing or if this will even work. But i just wanted to take a second and express my love to my gorgeouse wife on our 6th ann. She is by far the most amazing person i know. She puts her heart and soul in to everything she does. She is the hardest worker, The best wife and mother, and when she has fun she is a blast. She is truly my best friend, and any one who knows us knows she puts up with a lot being married to me. I truly am grateful to have her in my life. Our girls think she is the greatest thing in the world and i agree. Thank you sweetie for being such a good mom, and most important putiing up with me. I seem to be losing my good looks and hair for that matter but she still loves me. Then there is her who gets better looking every day. Pretty soon people will say hey who is the smokin hot chick with that ugly bald guy . I love her more than anything and just wanted her to know how special she is I love you honey happy ann.

Camera Broke, Now Fixed

Kind of funny story with the camera. Then lens wasn't coming out which won't even let it turn on, so Joldy called the company and we were going to have to ship it to them and they would fix it and ship it back. Well with the holidays coming up it would almost guarantee that I wouldn't have my camera. Joldy who is an internet addict decided to read up on it. One guy left his comment that he dropped it and it randomly started working again. Joldy didn't want to do that so he was shaking it really really hard and accidently sent it flying accross the room on my kitchen floor. And POOOOF! It works again........for now! So here is a little catching up.

Okay so I am not a huge fan of cats or kittens and when Nickole called and said that she got Roman not 1 but 2 kittens, she really wanted the girls to go and see them. And of course the whole time taunting my children to tell me they wanted a kitten. I DID NOT cave. So we will just have to visit Aunt Nickole if we want to see some kittens. However, handsome little Roman now has somebody to play with.....so to speak.(hopefully they stay alive with him handling them). And we all know how both of my girls say kitty......you know "titty tat" mom.

Roman is so funny, he just hugs Jaycee a million times everytime that he gets to see her. Anyway here are some pics............

After we did all of our Christmas decorating (minus the outside) the girls decided to strike a pose in front of our "no touchy" (good wording Jaime) tree. The tree downstairs is princess. Gee that's weird, something in our house princess?

And this is the latest picture of my baby girl. She is getting so big!!! She babbles Da Da all day long. Of course Dad thinks it is great. She turns 5 months on the 11th AND also on the 11th my oldest turns 5! Then saturday we leave for Disney Land for our Christmas surprise for the girls. Busy busy week coming up for us!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was hosted at my house as is every year. I actually really enjoy cooking. Joldy took the girls to his parents house all morning and it was really quiet while mom and I cooked. We actually almost didn't know what to do with ourselves without screaming children!!!! We got everything done fast and on time this year. Everyone was there except for Katie (just try and imagine stick figures for you and your fam Katie; LOL) Katie and her husband just bought their first house in Boise and were busy moving. Next year is your year Katie, we are all coming to Boise and you can cook for everyone!!!!!!!!! Fun Family times, right????

Bowling with the Pena's

We went bowling with the Eli and Nicole family last night, it was short, but fun. The babies were both VERY good. Little Allie is so A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E and smiles all the time. She is just so little. Infact, Aynslee is exactly double her in size. Allie is the same size that Aynslee was when she was born. Crazy, crazy. Anyway, the kids had the bars that popped up on the sides so that they wouldn't have gutter balls every time. And yes all the kids out scored the parents. Joldy, I believe, took very last place. I seem to remember dating in college and Joldy being the only "guy" that got beat by his girlfriend bowling one night. And still kicking his butt 6 years and 3 children later. He He. Thanks Pena's for a family fun night!!!!!

{Shout out to Daddy}

I think that my husband now understands why when we finally get an early night together.......alone, that I cannot stay awake. Not even for a good movie. The pillow and me are like two peas in a pod. My head hits and I am OUT. Okay for me, not so much for the husband. Aynslee has been such a stinker and waking up A LOT. Not just for milk but just to be awake. I think the spunk that I once had, left me. So with that thought in mind, my wonderful husband decided to take Aynslee at night so that I could catch up on some much needed beauty sleep. Low and behold she is only waking up for feedings and going 5-6 hours inbetween night feedings instead of nursing all night long. I now pump out enough milk twice a day to fill her bottles for 24 hours. So basically weaned her off of using me as a pacifier. And as you can tell by the pics, it is the end of the week for daddy night duty, and he is exhausted!!!!! One week compared to 4 months for me. Guys are so funny!!! I do, however, give him a huge pat on the back. I love him even more now!!! Thanks honey!!!!!!!

Rolls that rose!

Alright here you have it, I have finally found a recipe that agrees with me. You better believe that I now can bake rolls. My husband is LUVING them.

Along with my homemade rolls I made homemade chicken noodle soup "Joldy Style". Yep that's right, even the noodles were rolled out, cut, and cooked. I say "Joldy Style" because it is actually my mother's recipe and he made the comment that it is not chicken noodle soup without celery and carrots so I added them. Mom, I think that I have made your own recipe better than you. Uh-Oh I guess that means I will have to cook it from now on. (since I know that will be your comment)

Poppy!!!!!!!

My dad was in town for business and stopped by to see the girls. They talked him into playing princess checkers, and yes Jaycee won! They love it when Poppy comes to visit and they beg us all the time to go to Boise to stay with Poppy and Mimi. They spoil them rotten. Thanks Dad for entertaining the girls so I could clean up dinner!!

Fun With My Girlies

I usually try really hard to do something fun with the girls on my day off instead of catching up on my housework. Lately I have been into cooking/baking, so I decided to make sugar cookies with my girlies. It was messy and more frosting ended up in Sicilee's stomache rather than on the cookies. But it was worth the mess.
Can you tell which ones the girls frosted??

Happy Birthday...........Everyone!

Grandma Cookie decided to celebrate everyone's Birthday from July on....so we all met at Leo's Place and had some pizza. The kids were completely entertained with the games and the playland.

Luvin preschool

It is just so cute how the girls come home with all of the stuff they get to make at school. They get soooo excited to show me. I had to take a pic of this one, it is adorable. Jaycee got to use her own handprint. The other nice thing about school is now Jaycee can write the letters of the alphabet, so when she writes on my walls (which is quite often) she tries to blame in on Sicilee but doesn't get very far with it considering she writes her own name!!!!!

Ouch!

My baby girl got her 4 month shots today. And even the Doc cracked a joke that she looks like she is "wasting away". As you can see by her percentiles she isn't so much no. Hers is a HEALTHY GIRL, and I am proud of it!!

Thanks Cherish!!!

A little quiet time for mom. Actually all three of them took a nap at the same time, I don't think that I will ever be able to pull that off again!!

Little Miss Maddie called and asked if the girls could have a sleep over. It was their first sleep over and I was a little worried about Sicilee. They seemed to have had a lot of fun and completely wore themselves out. So not only did we get a quiet night but when the girls got home they took a really long nap. Joldy and I have been playing tag lately and so it was nice to get things done around the house on my shift to watch the girls. So thanks Cherish even though you didn't get much sleep, it was much appreciated on my end!!!

Just call me smalls

okay okay, I know that my baby isn't the skinniest but she is still small to me! My little one is now 4 months old. My sister Chelcey decided to crack a little joke about my chubby girl. She claims that when she put Aynslee in the swing and it creeked a little, that the swing actually said "help, me". Laugh it up Chelcey cuz the funny thing is most people think that she looks just like you. So go ahead and keep crackin the jokes!!!

{Monkeying} around

For being cute little prissy girls, they sure know how to put up a fight with their dad. Their favorite passtime is wrestling around with dad. So they were riding on his back like a horse and Aynslee decided that she was big enough to play too. And she joined in on the fun.

(Daddy) time

So every single time that I have Joldy rock Aynslee this is how their "quality" time ends up being together. Joldy claims that he just cannot rock her without falling asleep. I wish I could take a nap every time that I rocked my baby, but yes I do think that it is adorable!

Kid quotes

So I have a funny kid quote and I have to share with everyone. Sicilee was mad at Joldy and when she gets mad at him she comes to me saying that she wants a new daddy. We were in the car driving and Sicilee was crying and telling me that she wanted to get a new daddy and so I said to her "Sis, where do we go to get a new daddy?" Jaycee then blurted out "Mom, can't we just steal somebody else's husband?" Joldy and I thought that it was pretty funny. Seriously though, where in the world do kids learn things from huh?

Our Spooktakular Day

Today was my day off and I had the whole day planned. I never really get into halloween, but for some reason this year I decided to get a little into it. My day started off with making Anyslee her minnie ears for tomorrow, in this picture she is sporting them. She isn't such a fan of them though......

then the girls had their school Halloween parties and had to dress up in their costumes.
Introducing Miss Jasmine and Miss Ariel........

All the parents were invited to the "costume parade" and they marched around showing off their costumes and doing poses. They also sang some songs and tried to "scare" us. It was way cute.

When the girls got home from school we decided to start carving pumpkins, which was dad's job. So here are the girls "shoveling" the seeds out of the pumpkins with dad.

Here are the finished pumkins. Joldy is pretty proud of his ghosts and scooby doo!

And last was my little project with the girls. We made spider cupcakes. The girls had a blast and I did too.

Tink Night!

Well having two daughters who are complete Tink fans, I had to rush and get the movie so we could have a movie night. So when these fun little "girl activities" come up we all know how excited my poor husband gets:) He is such a good sport. Anyways lots of fun and now I get to memorize a new Disney movie because the girls will probably wear this one out too. It was cute, I really liked it.

Snuggling Party!

This is how the Watts' family has spent the last week. We have been lazy, lazy, lazy. So when the kids or husband get sick mom gets to take care of them right? Well who takes care of mom when she is down and out?? Good question huh? Not that my husband hasn't helped out a lot but wow have I been sick and struggling from day to day. So I do what every mom does, call their own mom. Okay not everybody does that, but usually when I am sick I still want my mother. The running joke in my family is if you get a shot and you don't cry, then my mom will take you to get ice cream. So when I had to get a shot in the bum, my mom was in a different state and I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get my ice cream (even at the age of 26) lol. Anyway every year I get strep throat and the flu at least once, this year I got them both in the same week plus a uterus infection on top of it. (No laughing Halley) And wow has it kicked my butt. My next fear is that the rest of the family is about to follow me so I will still be exhuasted from taking care of them.
On top of all my drama my little Aynslee has been going through a growth spurt and demanding a lot of nursing time from me. Okay let me rephrase "little Aynslee". My "chubba chubba" baby is wanting to eat all the time!!!!!! My sisters make fun of her because they claim she has four butt cheeks instead of two. She has already grown out of her 6-9 month pj's!! Either I have a future linebacker or I just have some really good milk:)

Aynslee's swimmin gear

Here is the view of the pool and hot tub off the back balcony of our beach house.

Aynslee's favorite just so happen to be the hot tub. She Looooooooooooooved it. So here is a picture of her in her little bathing suit and sun hat. I just can't soak enough of her up, she is such a little sweetie!!!

California Birthday Bash

While we were in California on our vacation we got to celebrate Sissy's third birthday. It was our last day of vacation so we were just chillin at the beach house. She blew out the candles on her "princess" decorated cupcakes and all of her gifts were toys that she picked out at the Disney store. SPOILED!!!!!! So her vacation was probably the most exciting. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!!

More vacation pics.......

So definately have had a blast...vacation days seem to go by way faster than a work week!!!! The girls got to go on all their favorite rides many times and little Carter Bryan's reaction (first time Disneylander) was priceless of course. Halley now has A LOT of new movies to buy since he got to meet them in real person.

My mother, surprisingly, probably had the most fun out of everyone. She went on all the "scary/daring" rides with us and laughed the whole time. And then the next day got right back on them (and mom gets very motion sick, FYI) It wouldn't have been the same without her, she definately made the trip more exciting.

Sicilee's favorite ride was the Tea Cups (the pink one) and Jaycee well.....loves all the rides. She went on a few that I was scared for her, but her reaction of course was "that was frickin awesome" and wanted to do it again. No fear with that child.

Here are some more characters that we were able to see. Sicilee's favorite was Minnie Mouse and Jaycee loves "all of them". There isn't much that Jaycee doesn't like. And Aynslee was my biggest trooper. She was an angel!!!!!!!!!! Slept just fine, ate on schedule, and even went on rides. This is how she hung out with me most of the time....

We had a pedometer this trip because we were curious just how much you actually walk in a day. And on average we walked 22 miles a day. And that is sitting and feeding kids and babies every 3 to 4 hours!!!!!!!!! CRAZY!

And yet at the end of a long, fun, exhausting day. This is how the girls spent from about 8:00 on each night. Snuggling with the stroller!
