Foam Fest

My friend Kelsie and I are into these extreme race/obstacle course runs. We recently entered into the 5K Foam Fest at Sandy Downs in I.F. It was super cold since we were the 9 am heat, but it was so fun. I don't really do these competively yet because I don't have much time to do serious training.....our goal is not to come in last. I am pretty sore the next couple of days after, but it is well worth the work out!

Our little Lainee is growing so fast! She has graduated to table food, sleeps through the night most of the time, and is as happy as can be. Aynslee handles her all day while the girls are at school and really annoys her, but what are big sisters for?

Jaycee is my biggest helper ever, I seriously don't know what I would do without her. I asked her to entertain Lainee while I showered.......chillin' in Howard the duck and watching Mickey seemed to do the trick.

And they're off......

My girls started school today! Watch out 2nd graders and Kindergartners......the Watts girls are new in town! They were sooooo excited to go.....not so excited to get up in the morning though. We struggled just a little. Me, on the other hand, struggled a lot. After I dropped them off and headed for work, it took about 5 minutes and then I let loose the tears. I don't cry much and I don't know why, but it was a sad moment for me. Time goes so fast.

The last couple of Sundays we have taken the two older girls boating. It hit me kind of hard when I realized how much more attention the little two get. Spending the whole day with the older girls was so much fun!

We also said our farewells to Porter Clayton, Aynslee's "best buddy" left on a mission for Texas.

Catchin Up!

I need to dust off the cobb webs from the blog, oh my! So of course the Watts family has been so super busy. The first picture is of the girls in their 24th of July outfits that my sister Halley made, Aynslee threw one of her famous fits for nothing and refused to be in the pic.......so I got a picture of her throwing her fit! This made her twice as mad.

We had our yearly visit with the Chad and Penny Hill family, it was good to see them again.

We had a family night out and took the kids bowling. They had such a blast! Lainee did what she does best and slept for the first part.

For the record, because my kids had the rail up......I got the lowest score both games. Yep, my kiddos beat me!

So this is a random pic of Jo Jo being a wart on her daddy's bum. And yes, those are her Christmas jammies she is sporting.

I have my husband back, he wrapped up his season. I didn't make it to very many games and I can't even remember how they did......bad baseball wife award. We also made a big decision and moved to Idaho Falls, best idea ever. We love it. And on top of EVERYTHING else that we have on our plates Joldy and I have decided to go back to school. I know, I know. My biggest complaint is how much time I don't have, but this we need to do. I am going online full-time and getting my bachelor of science business-human resources. It is go at your own pace completing one class at a time and I plan to be done in 3 years. So far so good....10 years of no school has meant some serious study time. My first math class kicked my butt. Since I run a restaurant, have four kids, and go to school.......I really just don't sleep. That is my game plan, NO SLEEP. Joldy is going back for sports medicine so he can move up in the coaching world, he had a lot of credits transfer so he should be done in less than 2 years. So if you see us looking like zombies with some serious circles under our eyes, we just don't sleep.

Our little Lainee Buggies is on the move. She is crawling and pulling herself up on everything. She eats anything in site.......I am sure if she found a spider she would grab it and eat it. Still an amazing baby and only wakes up once for a bottle around 5 a.m. I believe that I was blessed with the last baby being awesome because if they all were this good......I would have had 12. I have become emotional with her milestones. If I could freeze time, it would be now. My family is complete and I am content with their ages and stages. Every time Lainee does something new, I cry. It will be a bad day in the Watts home when she starts to walk, that is usually the stage where I say "okay lets have another." But this time there is no other. Just witnessing precious moments and embracing parenthood one day at a time.

5K AMAZING RACE

My good friend Kelsie and I did the funnest thing ever.........we ran in the amazing race in Rexburg. There were hurdles, hay bails, tires, river run, mud running, army crawling, fire jump, and I can't remember much else but it was EXHAUSTING!!! We took 140th of 205 contenders consisting of men and women and they clocked us at 53 minutes. All the proceeds went to the orphanage in Ecuador. They had a little kid 1K and I am excited to have Jaycee do it with me next year.

Before.........

By the way, like the second obstacle was jumping into a deep canal over our heads. So we were completely wet from then on. We made 2 mistakes.......not wearing spandex pants and wearing mascara. We were holding on to our bottoms to keep them on and mascara ran down our cheeks the whole time.

After.......

Definitely going to be feeling it tomorrow!

Aynslee Turned 3!

Aynslee just graduated from the terrible two's! Okay, okay she is still pretty sassy, but we love her so much. She had a good birthday. We got her a play kitchen and a scooter, she doesn't stop playing with both. We had my family over for a BBQ/pool party/water balloon fight. It has been a LONG time since we got together even for a dinner since we are so busy these days. I decided that I would be one of those cool moms that make the birthday cake. Luckily she chose Hello Kitty and I think I did pretty good.......

Halley brought her whole clan......love her twins. They are so smiley and giggly. This one is Emmi (I think I am her favorite)

Chelcey brought the newest addition, little Lynlee. So we lined up the girls. From left to right we have Lynlee, Lainee, Alli, Emmi. It was difficult to hurry and take a pic before little Lynlee got her hair pulled, scratched, or even bitten by one of the other girls! The twins are ruthless to each other. Always pullin hair, eating each other's clothing, and rolling everywhere. Whew, I don't know how Halley does it.

Here are the two cutest baseball girls.............Halley made them dresses. She is the best Aunt ever.

Joldy's team had a fundraiser alumni baseball game. He needed to save some pitchers for the real games this week, so he was the pitcher. I had to take pics because it has been a long time since I last saw my husband on a mound, in a uniform, striking out batters. He still has it! Struck out like 11 batters in like 4 innings. Yes, he is old and was hurting the next day.

Happy Fourth!

We had such a quiet holiday! Sometimes it is nice to kick back with just our little family. I started the day with some long hours at work, but Joldy was a good dad and took the girls to the parade and then for lunch with me. I also have some exciting news.!!!!!!!! I became an Aunt again. So after I got off work, I headed up to the hospital to witness the miracle of birth with my sister Chelcey. They had their baby girl and named her Lynlee. She was in labor for 18 hours yikes! She weighed in at 6 lbs 8 ounces and 18.5 inches long. She was vacuumed out so she has quite the bruise on her head for a war-wound. Both mom and baby are doing fabulous.

So after that I headed home and lit off some good ol fireworks with the family. I had made some fun celebration snacks and then the girls crashed for the night.

"Baseballin"

Our little Aynslee asks a lot of questions in a day. One of my favorites....."is dad baseballin today?" Most of the time my answer is yes. Even though we have a house full of girls, they still play ball with dad inbetween games.
