Baby Luv

First of all I must say a huge thanks to everyone who has given us flowers and gifts!! We have been showered with them very generously. Here is one of the cutest arrangement of cookies I have ever seen!

Life at the Watts house has been pretty busy since we got our little bundle of joy came home! Joldy and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on December 6th and we snuck away for a dinner for two while my mom watched the kiddos (yes we are so boring). Jaycee turned 7 on Decemeber 11th and we were in Utah for a cheer competition, Jayc took 2nd and Sissy took 1st! The girls were able to see Santa at the mall, Aynslee only liked him from a distance of course :)

We are loving our little angel! She definitely has got the eating thing down and demands her milk now (huge milestone for her). Her little chipmunk cheeks are starting to show even though she still has the skinniest chicken legs ever. She is a little spoiled and thinks she needs held all day, we kind of enjoy that (until I go back to work that is). Has found her thumb a few times and has graduated from preemie diapers and clothes to newborn. I actually went and bought her some newborn outfits cuz I was tired of only her jammies fitting her.

She is loving her baths and falls asleep instantly. It must remind her of being in the womb, she is so funny.

Aynslee is doing much better and has become my biggest helper. Her fits have calmed down and she actually waits for me to change her bum so she can run the diaper to the garbage and then waits for her to finish her bottle so she can put it in the sink. Lainee has taken to nursing but I produce way more than she eats so I still have to pump after I feed her. Really time consuming but hopefully she will catch up soon (mostly because my freezer is now a dairy) She should have milk for at least two months after I decide to stop!

Lainee's Homecoming!!

Our little baby got to come home on Friday.....hooray! Her sisters are loving her to death, literally. Aynslee is a little or A LOT possessive. She wants to hold her ALL DAY LONG and doesn't want her other sisters to even go near her. Not the reaction we thought she would have. We just let her throw her fits and try to let her help with everything :)

Here is our little elf who decided herself that she wanted to go home. She had pulled her own feeding tube out completely and didn't even make a peep while she did it.....then from that point on she ate all her bottles right on que for 48 hours straight and then we got to come home. It is like she turned a corner and kept going!

Daddy was only able to come to the hospital for one feeding a day since he had to go back to work then head home to bath the girls, do homework, keep up on my house, and get the kids to bed. HUGE shout out to my family, especially my mother who unexpectedly had to take vacation time that is going to be much needed for Halley and Nickole here very shortly! My house was kept up on and my girls always had a taxi and someone to watch them. Thanks Family!!!!! Most of all...........a big I LOVE YOU to my wonderful husband who made it possible for me to spend 12 hours a day at the hospital and being my emotional support.

Our first night home was a little rough. I thought that since she was laid down at the hospital and slept in her bed most of the time that it was what she wanted........learned the hard way and night #2 she slept right next to me and mommy got much more sleep:) We sure love her so much and it is so good to have her home!

Baby Update

My little Lainee still isn't home yet but is showing huge milestones!! Most of her firsts are in the hospital so here is her first bath(she was not happy) and her first beanie now that she can regulate her own temperature!!! She just has to work on waking up on her own and drinking her whole bottle. With these little preemies it is like 2 steps forward 1 step back. We sure hope she can come home within the next week though :)

She's here! A little early..........

Our little angel wanted her own birthday and for it not to be around Christmas! Miss Lainee Rose Watts born Wednesday November 24th at 10:40 a.m. weighing in at 5 lbs 7 oz and 18 inches long. Definitely our little runt! Being 5 weeks early she has been in the nurses care until she is strong enough to eat without help. Her lungs are doing great and she is breathing on her own. I chose to not show pics yet cuz she has a lot of cords and tubes, but she is BEAUTIFUL! Here is our story:

Tuesday I chose not to go to work due to road conditions, yet for some reason I felt really good. I got this crazy I need to get ready for the baby bug and got her car seat and diaper bag all ready. Then it didn't stop there.......I didn't stop nesting the rest of the day! I drove my husband nuts! I even went and got some blanket material to match her take home outfit, but didn't get around to make it. At 6 am I felt like I peed my pants so I got up, went to the bathroom.........nothing else. Changed my pants and went to crawl back in bed when I felt more water, I woke up my husband and said " I think I am leaking fluid but it is way too early". I got the one eye open thing and a huh? Then the rest of my water broke, and I started crying cuz I knew it was too early and was worried for the baby. I called my mom to come be with my kids and we headed for the hospital. Everything happened so fast from that point on. They checked me and I was dilated to a 3 but she was breech.......ultrasound showed feet in the birth canal. Doc was called and he did another ultrasound to confirm and then did the most painful thing that I have ever experienced........tried to turn her himself. Mission not accomplished......c-section was then performed less then an hour later. I actually felt a little guilty for not going through labor pains. She cried right away which made me cry...mostly in relief. They quickly showed her to me over the sheet and then I didn't get to see her for a long time. Joldy did though...FYI... my poor husband who doesn't do well during these situations was white and barely said 2 words the whole time! She is tough and is progressing, she just got put on a bili-blanket for jaundice so she will have to stay a few more days. I have never left the hospital without my baby so this is going to be hard. When they take the IV out of her little head I will post some pics....she is the first child to not look so much like her daddy and a little more like her momma :)

Disney Land and 1st Cheer Competition

The Watts family has been super busy having too much fun the last couple of weeks! It was exhausting but well worth it of course. I definately wouldn't recommend going on a "walking" vacation at 34 weeks preggers though :) Although, I didn't gain any weight, the contractions were so consistent that she settled herself right down where she should which made it so I can breathe finally, and I was so tired by the end of the day that I slept so good. Some pros and cons I guess.

We took Nickole and her husband for their first visit (she was 32 weeks preggers) so we waddled behind everyone together. Their son is obsessed with buzz.....and he was the first character we saw!!! Joldy and Dan got to ride all the adult rides together and were bigger kids than our own :)

Aynslee was my typical 2 year old and yes the fits were there every day, but she was such a trooper and woke up every morning ready to see "minnie's house". She finally took a nap in the stoller the very last day.....it was much needed.

There is a serious picture overload....sorry!

The Danny and Nickole George Family

We always hit up Goofy's Kitchen to get our family photo for the year (seriously) so here is the whole clan! After we ate we headed up to see Uncle Levi and soak up some much needed sun at the beach.

I have to admit the daddy daughter photo is priceless! She was stuck on him like glue the WHOLE trip. Everything was "daddy do it" holding her in line, bathroom breaks....you name it she wanted him and no complaints on my end :)

The girls were so funny about sand being everywhere!!!!!! Aynslee kept saying "sand in my bum, hurts" haha I sure love this little girl.

We came home with 3 bags of stuffed Disney animals that Joldy and the girls won while I shopped at the stores

We went during Christmas specifically this year, the lights and festiveness were so amazing.

After six long days in California we got back Friday just in time to unpack, do laundary, and pack back up because Jayc and Siss had their first cheer competition the next morning. I was so impressed with Sissy not being scared and smiling the whole time! I was a little worried with the whole cheer thing with her but she seems to love it as much as Jayc. Jaycee was so funny cuz she is one of the girls they lift a lot and they missed lifting her once and she was "pissed." She scowled the rest of the dance and then plopped her bum next to me after and crossed her arms and then continued to pout. I am a poor sport losing games and bets with my husband so I guess she got that from me. All in all, both of their teams took first place and no harm done with some serious scowls from Jaycers.

I love their new uniforms this year! And I love that Sissy gets to have pigtails!
Our schedule is still super crazy up until the baby comes. I have four weeks left (I have already scheduled my induction day so I can be home for Christmas....it does pay to always measure so big and to have the option to go at 39 weeks :) So with Disney Land, first competition, and Thanksgiving being this week my checklist is half done. Now I just have anniversary, 2nd cheer competition in Utah (same day as Jaycee's birthday), graduation week for work, then hooray she will be here!!!!!!

Happy Halloween

Since half of the sisters are having babies for the holidays, we decided to do our big family get together for the year for Halloween. Katie couldn't make it up but most of the grand kids all got to go trick-or-treating together! They were so cute and LOVED getting candy. I told the girls they could not be princesses this year so Jayc was a witch, Sis was spider girl, and Aynslee was a bee who was showing off her stinger that stuck out in back.

Here is the cutest kid in the universe! Little Roman was a cop and I was trying to get a pic of just him and Nickole said "Tell aunt Meggan to put her hands in the air" and cute as he is......he dropped his gun and put HIS hands in the air. It was so funny :)

After we gather too much candy around Rigby, we then hit the Boo and the Zoo! The kids had a blast!

To celebrate my mom's and Nickole's b-day (which is on the same day) we decided to do a spa morning with all the sisters and mom! No pics were taken cuz there was a lot of facials, massages, mani's, pedi's, and waxing. Afterwards we hit Olive Garden for lunch and then the mall for some much needed shopping minus the kiddos. Hooray for all the daddy's for taking the kids so the girls could have some pampering:) I did try to get a pic of the chubby, swollen, sparkly toes for you though.

Halloween Festivities

The fam had a fun filled day of super delicious treats and carving pumpkins!!!!! The girls actually helped clean out the pumpkins instead of saying......eeeww gross! They were good little helpers and we topped off the day with some caramel covered goodies that my mom whipped up.

Of course we had to have minnie for Aynslee. She is still her favorite Disney character!

Joldy gave up on snow white a little early so she is harder to tell who she is.....but this one was Sicilee's

I MADE my mom carve one pumpkin and she totally just free handed this and was done in like one minute flat. Cheater pants!

A couple of funny kid quotes of the day.
Jaycee was on the computer and she yells at me "Hey mom, what is my email address!?" Obviously she was trying to buy something but seriously what is this world coming to? She is in first grade for heavens sake!
Joldy is in so much trouble for this one. Let me explain further. Aynslee has this little raspberry birth mark right on the top of her foot (I claim it is from her kicking my rib so hard while still in my oven) and her newest "thing" is claiming that she is bleeding EVERY time she gets a teeny ow-ee. So every day she says she is bleeding. Joldy got tired of it and taught her that it is a freckle, YES A FRECKLE! Use your imagination of that word being said over and over by a 2-year old all day. It sounds like she has such a potty mouth between freckle and sh**. We are such bad parents I guess. My mom laughed pretty hard when she heard it so she has been trying to teach her that it is a polk-a-dot. Which she can say clearly, thank goodness.
We are down to single digits with our very active fetus. I actually feel pretty good. Sleep is...... well very interrupted by her moving and me not being able to breathe but that will only get worse over the next weeks so I will live for now. My weight has been much more managed with this one although I really do nothing different from any of the other pregnancies. So weird how each one is SO different. Went to the doc and measure 3 weeks big, so normal for my chubby newborns! She is sitting breech, however, I have never had one breech this far along. They have always been head down and in the birth canal by now so it scares me a little that she might not turn before she gets too big. Which also is a big part of my breathing problems. Her head is right against my diaphragm. Lil' stinker! I think time will actually fly over the next weeks until she arrives. My fabulous husband is scheduled for a vasectomy next week (yep...we are so done!), then the next week we head to Disneyland, the next day the girls have their first cheer competition, our 8 year anniversary is on the 6th, another cheer competition on Dec. 11 in Utah which is also Jaycers birthday, then I have to make it through graduation week for work sake, then bam the baby will be here! Usually the last months drag but as you can see life will be super busy clear up until she decides to arrive:)

Happy Birthday Sicilee!

My middle baby turned five! We celebrated by taking her to Red Robin (the kids' ultimate favorite place to eat) and then went home to have cake and ice cream. She is really into barbies.......so we added to her collection. My mom added by getting her a barbie bathtub toy that seems to lengthen bath time by at least a half an hour. And Poppy and MeMe sent their birthday card with birthday money to add a boy barbie to the collection. All in all it was a Barbie Fest!

Sicilee and Aynslee have been getting along so much better since all the have to play with is each other while Jayc is at school. Still fight like crazy but they seem to play well too. Sissy is my growing weed that I can't keep up with! She has now passed Jayc by a full size in shoe.....therefore already had to exchange her cheer shoes that she can't even get on her foot. And even though it seems the school year has just started, I had to go shopping to buy just her some new shoes that she could actually put her foot into. She is enjoying cheer and trying desperately to get her back kick-over before competitions start next month. I still call her my lost butterfly in everything that she does, her attention span is short. Especially when I ask her to help clean up of to do something.......weird. The sassy that I thought maybe passed this one child is entering her blood slowly:) DANG IT! I thought that I might not lose my mind if I had one sassy-less child! All in all we love her so much.......and her sassy too!
I was behind on Aynslee's shots and finally caught up this week. The doc got a good look into her terrible two tantrums. She screamed, kicked, and cried the WHOLE time we were in the building. No reason, just my JoJo. The doc asked me what I did when she did this and I said ignore her and walk away.....that seemed to be the right answer cuz he just smiled. She has however grown ALOT just this summer. She put on 4 1/2 inches putting her over 90 percentile for both height and weight. Each child seems to be getting taller as we go. Jayc is predicted to be 5' 2, Sissy 5' 4 and now Aynslee will be about 5' 8. Maybe the last two won't be cheerleaders!!!!!
Jaycee is loving school and once again top of her class. Homework is a breeze cuz the child basically outsmarts me. Has conquered her back handspring at cheer and seems to be growing out of some of her sassy. She is becoming more responsible and definitely fitting the role of the oldest. She has good instincts and is my biggest helper. So maybe there is light at the end of my tunnel and maybe as they get older the attitude will not shine through near as much. MAYBE JUST MAYBE!
