Good Times and Colorado

My sister, Nickole and her family, came up for one last visit before they move to St. George! We hit a picnic in the park and it was a blast. Her little-big guy Christian is a TANK, no joke! Could not even lift him in the air to get giggles out of him. His is in 2T clothes, OMG. Happiest baby ever though :)

He is already like half the size of me, I could just eat up this kid. He laughs and giggles all day long. His back rolls.....there is like four on each side, and his thighs.......holy thunder!

We headed out to Colorado for Joldy's baseball tourney. We were able go to the Colorado Rockies game. Aside from Lainee, it was the girls' first big league game. They weren't near as excited as my mom. We have created a monster!!!! She absolutely loved it. They are addicting I will admit. We also were able to hit the zoo, I do believe that it is considered on of the best in America. I completely agree. I saw animals that I didn't even know how to pronounce. Jo Jo's favorite was the elephants, the rest of us was definitely the giraffes.

The legion board put together a AA legion team this year and nominated Joldy to coach it. They aren't starting off so hot, but you do have to consider that these boys picked for this team are ALL RIVALS of each other. They are slowly learning to play together and becoming a team. They have such great talent and potential, it is just a matter of uniting.

Joldy turned the big 29 on Sunday! A way boring birthday considering we took a good but kicking at the game in the morning and then had to drive 10 hours home. However, the shopping there puts Salt Lake to shame. The outlets are ginormous and super amazing. So Joldy got hooked up for his big day and I was able to finish all school shopping for the girls.

Not everything was peaches and cream for the trip......Jo Jo had a UTI and got the flu the first night, Sicilee caught the flu the second night, my throat was on fire the whole trip!! The doctors there charge 200 an appointment, so I passed and waited until yesterday to go to the doc. Big mistake....it has escalated into mono!!!! It is so funny when a doctor asks a mother of 4 "so have you been tired lately" I mean really who isn't tired??? So it seems I will be extra exhausted for a while:) Anyslee just started a fever today so I will have to take her in, I am sure it is strep. Needless to say the adults, including my poor mother, didn't get much sleep during this little vacation!!! And my poor Lainee hasn't even got her second round of shots because of sickness ( including being exposed, but not yet catching the chicken pox) that keep escalating my family.

Seattle Road Trip

The Space Needle was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the company was even better.
We had an absolute blast on our trip! Trenna and Muck came with us.....an I took my little Lainee WHO WAS A TROOPER!!! She was so good, even all the long hours in the car. There are alot of random trip pics, please take note of the ones my husband is actually smiling in. HE NEVER SMILES.

The best picture of all......what my husband would look like with hair!

We stayed up super late playing cards, laughed during the long road hours, and ate some pretty awesome food. A much needed vacation.

State at Boise

Joldy's team made it to state again this year. The girls and I surprised him and showed up late Friday night. Well not much of a surprise because I am a terrible liar......really. The weather was great (came home with my first sunburn) and the girls got to play with Grace and Kreed so they were super happy.

The Bees ended up 3rd at State and Joldy was very proud.

It was good to hang out with my sister Katie.

Aynslee made a new friend wouldn't leave the poor girl alone.

At the end of a very long weekend, dad and girls were exhausted and it showed! What an amazing coach and good daddy.

We have one week before legion starts and Joldy and I take this weekend for "US" time. So we are headed to Seattle to hit a Mariners/Yankees game. I can't seem to part with my Lainee yet, so she gets to see her first big league game with us. We plan on driving over to Eugene, Oregon to watch Porter Clayton play. Thank you for my family for volunteering to watch our kiddos for us. This little vacation is much needed.

Preschool Graduation and more.....

I am so proud of my graduate!! She has learned so much this year. Write her whole name, tie her shoes, color inside the lines, sign language, alphabet sounds, phone number, address, and so on!!! Still my diva. She has to pick out cute clothes, shoes that match, and don't forget the earrings. She grew 2 inches this year and only gained 1 pound. I think her feet grew 3 sizes, no joke. She stands almost a head taller then her other classmates!

Carter is in the same preschool class as Sicilee so Halley brought her clan. It is funny because all of Halley's kids will be in the same exact grade as one of my kids. Of course not with Jayc but the rest follow right in line with mine:) She just doubled up at the end. Halley has been so creative lately. The dresses that her twins are wearing, she made. I just looked at her and said "where's Lainee's?" I don't know how she has time for such creativeness.

They always ask the kids what they want to be when they grow up. Jaycee said a baby doctor and hasn't changed her mind yet, and Sicilee said a dentist. I immediately looked and Joldy and said he needs to make more money because we have expensive college ahead of us! But not to worry about retirement because the girls will take care of us:)

My Lainee bugs has graduated to baby food!!! Don't let the picture fool you (bad angle) she is still tiny. She IS NOT A FAN OF FOOD OR JUICE! Really 3 bites, a nasty face, and pursing her lips together. She is just shy of six months and needs more nutrition then just milk. Never had a kid not want to eat. She is still on a great routine (never imposed it, she just did it herself). She is sleeping through the night and in her own bed, but she wakes up around 6 EVERY morning, loads her diaper, then talks to her toes. Never cries. Usually the loading the diaper is the part I wake up on cuz this girl can shake a house:) Sometimes she watches cartoons as I run on the treadmill, sometimes I let her pull my hair, and sometimes I let her play with Joldy's face. He sleeps through absolutely EVERYTHING so it doesn't bother him.

After cheer tryouts we headed to Applebees's to meet my dad because he was up for a visit. It just happen to be kid's night so there was face painting. The girls took full advantage. Halley and Steph came too. So our table consisted of: My dad plus 3 infants, 3 two-year olds, 2 preschoolers, Jaycee, and 3 of his own daughters. Joldy joined us after his game so for a while Dad got alot of funny looks. He always had a baby in his arms or a kid on his lap. I feel so blessed that Dad comes to visit his grandchildren so much and lives 5 hours away. The girls always ask when his next visit is. He never misses a birthday, and calls or texts every holiday. HUGE shout out to Poppy and MeMe for being awesome grandparents.

Random pic of Aynslee.....I think Jayce might of taken it.

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny and I had a talk, and decided that my children already eat wwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too much candy (the dentist agrees:) and so Jayc and Aynslee got a summer outfit, Sissy got a new swim suit and shoes that actually fit her ski-feet! Size 1 mind you, Jayc is still an 11. And my little Lainee bugs got a bumbo tray, new spoons (since she will be starting cereal soon) and extra binkies!!! We did, however, have a big Easter Egg Hunt down stairs..........Lainee tried to participate but is still not mobile (lol)

Can you tell that her dad dresses her in the mornings? She is sporting her Bee gear. She also has discovered her toes and talks to them often. Sometimes at her 5 am feeding, she would rather talk and play with her toes then go back to sleep, a minor disagreement we have had lately. She is still a super good baby and is extremely happy. I wish all of them were as easy as she is!

The girls and I haven't made it to very many games, due to the weather of course. And when we do go, Lainee and I get the box seats! Aynslee is daddy's girl and LOVES baseball, if it is too cold and I tell her we cannot go or Lainee will get sick she goes into one of her "I am two" screaming fits. Even though poor Joldy did not get a son, Aysnlee will sure fill those shoes. I don't think she will be a cheerleader, and that should save me quite a bit of money! If you gave her the choice of pom poms or a baseball glove..........definately a glove.

Entertainer of the year

Let me further explain this picture........First of all, those are Jaycee's cheer curlers in her hair. They are the coolest curlers ever. Anyways, as you all know baseball season is here........and I am a widowed wife! So Jaycee has become my entertainer for Lainee bugs so I can do housework and cook dinner. Lainee was fussing and I was trying to do the dishes and I yelled at Jaycee to please talk to Lainee so I could finish. Lainee stopped crying. So I finished and when I came in the room.....this is what I saw. I have no idea how Jayc managed to get her in that position, but she was super entertained so I have to objections. After this picture my camera died, but then I walked past the girls' bathroom to find Sicilee going to the bathroom with the door wide open. To make the situtation even funnier, she was playing the IPad. I just shook my head and mumbled something along the lines of "wow, you are soooooo your father." I got Lainee's ears pierced and by the forth kid I have it mastered. No really, I rubbed the teeth numbing gel on her earlobes and she didn't even cry. The sad thing is, she won't hold still long enough for me to take a picture. I have tried numberous times and failed. So I will just tell you that they are super cute :) I just changed out her 0-3 month clothes for 3-6 so we are growing like a weed. She is the happiest baby I have had yet, and lllloooooovvvvveeeesss cartoons. We put her in her bumbo to watch T.V. and she thinks she is so cool. She is up to 5 ounces every 4 hours and only wakes up at 3 for a bottle. I can't say that my tiredness is due to lack of sleep, maybe it is because I am getting old!!!! LOL We are heading to Boise for a baseball tourney and the girls are so exited to see Poppy and MeMe and Katie and her fam. I bought Tangled for the ride, the girls can hardly wait:)

Cheer Nationals

The girls and I headed for Utah for nationals. My Jaycers took 4th and Sissy took 2nd. It is so funy because Jaycee gets sooooo disappointed when she doesn't always get first like last year. It is hard to teach your kid that you still performed great even if you don't take home a first place trophy. She is in the "mini" team and there is A LOT more competition. "Tiny" team basically looks cute and shakes their bums and they usually get a big standing ovation. And boy can Sissy shake her bum bum! It was a great girls weekend and we managed to get some shopping in, always a favorite of mine when hitting up Utah. Nickole and her husband have recently moved to Utah and so she got to see them perform. Nickole is their favorite and were so excited to hang with her for the weekend.

On another note, I couldn't be blessed with a better baby! She sleeps so good and is sooooooo content. A word that never existed with the previous 3. I finally took her for her shots and she has managed to slowly get out of the zero percentiles. So at 3 months and one week:
WEIGHT: 10.4 LBS = 6%
HEIGHT: 22.8 INCHES = 17%
HEAD: 14.1 = 1%

Once again, following in Jaycee's footsteps, spiked almost an instant fever which lasted for 5 days. Funny thing is, I caught the nasty flu bug and held the same fever right along with her for the week. It was like a flashback of my honeymoon........I was really sick. (those of you that know me well, I spent my honeymoon dying sick with the flu with my husband on a couch instead of on a cruise to Mexico) So Lainee got a lot of mommy snuggling except I had to do alot of washing of my hands and some serious hand sanitizer so she wouldn't catch my bug.

Her blue eyes are still holding strong and her clogged tear duct has finally cleared up. No more goop, yay! She smiles and tells her cute little high-pitched stories all day. She has Jaycee's smile, which comes from their father, same dimples and all. She has found her tongue, and is super interested in her hands and fingers. She is always holding her hands in front of her and going cross-eyed to stare at them. Her personality is blooming every day. We love her so much!
