Half-time Jazz Performance

Jaycee had her big performance this last weekend! Nickole, Danny, Roman, and our good family friend Nic met us there. We stayed in Park City and got some serious shopping done! The girls are weeds and I am trying to get ahead for summer and next school year. It was a fun and fabulous weekend and Jayc did so good smiling and shaking her stuff in front of such a HUGE crowd:) It was even a close and very good game! We had some much needed hot dogs at the game which just gears us up for the season of baseball that has crept up on us ever so quickly.

Jaycee keeps asking me when spring is going to get here....you know mom when the ground hog sees his little shadow thing.....she says EVERYDAY.

Jaycee has also lost her first tooth on her own (we don't include the one that had to be pulled because of sugar bugs)......okay not on her own but she let me just pull it out! Really it was just hanging on by a thread and she didn't even know I got it out. Tooth Fairy questions arise about every hour...but it is expected from such a smarty pants 6 year-old.

Livin Life

I have learned that even during baseball "off-season" life still is going in the fast lane. Learning to be more organized day by day......yet raising three sassy girls, running a restaraunt, being a taxi cab between school and cheer, and supporting the baseball boys through basketball season has kept me more than occupied! Joldy does lessons on the side and refs.....and he is booked and having to turn away lessons!! I love that he is able to teach what he knows about the game.

On another note.....CHILD UPDATE!

Jaycee: Loving cheerleading and performances and competitions are keeping us on our toes. Has an extremely loose tooth that she refuses to pull out (yes it is black now). Has my "early mother traits" thinks that she is the mom and will just get the kids out of bed at fix them breakfast, change diapers, and do the dishes. Most of you would say YAY a helper but her independence has been taken to a new scary level. Jayc is Aynslee's best friend! Aynslee does NOT get along with Sicilee......they fight, push, kick, BITE, scratch, and pull eachothers hair on an hourly basis. She is waking up with some serious growing pains at night. Aynslee has a new sleeping buddy....Jaycers! If Aynslee randomly wakes up at night (STILL teething) then I put her in bed with Jayc and she goes right back to sleep. Won't snuggle with me but seems to LOVE Jayc. School is going good...every parent conference she doesn't have much to say except she is her top student. No surprises there.

Sicilee: Has now voiced her new interest in doing cheer next year....working on cart wheels (not doing so hot). Changes her clothes at least 5x a day mimimum! Does not want long hair like Jaycee and asks me to cut it every month to keep it short. Pre-school readiness has brought her some new friends that she just can't wait to go back to school and see. My biggest tattle-tail! Still keeping up with Jayc in size (school clothes are still really easy) Has a very quiet, sassy, sneaky attitude and nothing is ever her fault. Has some serious bite marks from Aynslee (99% of the time she deserves it). Still by litte snuggle buddy and will find me at night to at least snuggle for 5 minutes. Loves jewelery (earring, rings, neckalaces, braclets) she must wear one of each every day to school.

Aynslee: AKA "sharp tooth". She has teeth and seems to think she needs to use them on people. Sometimes for no reason at all. YIKES! WATCH OUT! Hugs are scarce....I am AFRAID! The absolute most ATTUTUDE of all three girls combined. Not really looking forward to PMS days at my house. Still a tank.....feet still too fat to fit in most shoes. New favorite, pointing to someone and saying "no, no." I have never met such a little monkey. This child can climb and get on ANYTHING. Most of the time I find her on my kitchen counter in the medicine cabinet! Fits have gone to a whole new level....arching of the back, screaming, kicking, pinching my face, you name and she does it. I sure do love her though:) Must kiss and hug the girls at night and brush her teeth with them. She likes to only play what the older girls are playing....okay let me rephrase "RUIN" anything they are playing. She is a complete bully and does not take any crap from anyone!!

Going to work is definately a break, being a mommy is the hardest job ever. Also the most rewarding:) I sure do love all my sassy little girlies. They can make me laugh just as much as they stress me out. One day I will be able to look back, wipe my forehead, and say WHEW.....I accomplished the hardest task in life. RAISING CHILDREN

I Got Lei'd for my 28th Birthday!!!

It's TRUE! My husband and I went to Hawaii with my sister Nickole and her husband and just happened to be there for my birthday. It was absolutely amazing and everything everyone said it would be! We were able to do so many activities such as kayaking, parasailing, snorkeling, whale-watching, going to a luau, sunsets on the beach, and touring Peal Harbor. The time change really got us (3 hours difference) and it took Aynslee about half a day to actually forgive me when we got back. We left for a week and by day 3 she was lost, quiet, and sad. Now she doesn't leave my arms.......I am totally okay with that. I have never left my children for longer than a weekend and as much as I LOVED our vacation it was hard to leave my kids. I must do a shout out to all the people who helped me out and taxied my kids around. Most of all my wonderful mother (who always changes her schedule to help me out), my sister Stepanie, Mindy, Brindy, and the cheer moms! The vacation was much needed now that baseball season is coming up and I will then be a widowed wife.

My week is crazy busy coming back! Work, of course! I have a meeting in Utah on Wednesday and then we head to Boise for a cheer competition on Friday! The kids are super excited to see Poppy and MeMe and my sister Katie and her fam!

Merry Christmas!

The girls just HAD to wait for Nickole and Danny to decorate cookies this year. Whenever aunt Nickole comes around it is like Christmas for them......so for her to stay with us for Christmas was like CHRISTMAS X2! When I mean X-mas when they come around it isn't because she buys them toys or takes them out to eat every time, but they always spend quality time with them and do activities and play dolls (yes even Danny) and do puzzles, etc. I love holidays and the chaos at my house.........mostly because my family(meaning my sisters and their families) are not drama. Suprisingly with 6 girls in one family, we have a blast and always make the best of memories. Mom always gets Joldy and I a new game and this year it is battle of the sexes so I THAT might bring a little competition to the table!

Sicilee ate WWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY more frosting than she put on the cookies!

Jaycee's zebra (cheerleading) snowflake that I made for her.

Aunt Halley wants a girl so bad she just loves on JoJo every time she is around her (for the record....Aynslee is not a fan of being "loved on" or "smothered" as you can tell by the look on her face)and teaches her naughty things to say and do:)

We have had a tradition in our family since we was all little.........sister gift exchange on Christmas Eve. This year mom made the rule that you had to make it...well my excuse was that I made the money to buy the gift (I am such a cheater I know). My family thinks that Halley and I rig it every year but really, I did draw her name again this year:)

Those pics wrap up Christmas Eve and now we move on to morning!

Oh, so we have also carried on my sister family tradition for our girls and they got Frog princess jammies and little Frog princess "polly pockets" as they are called at our house. All matching or fighting arises very quickly with my beautiful sassy children.

Aynslee decided she would rather suck on her candy cane than open ANY presents!

Then off to Grandma Cookies house for some dinner and more presents!

It is so funny to me how as parents we will absolutely exhaust ourselves to make Christmas just perfect in order to see how excited kids get with the anticipation of Christmas. Even though we spoil our kids rotten, if you ask Jaycee she can tell you exactly what the true meaning of Christmas is. She is getting way too smart for me and never misses a beat!

Lastly, I decided to go with blue christmas dresses this year and I must say that these two divas sure are cutie pies!

Happy Birthday Jaycee!

Jaycee celebrated her 6th birthday on the 11th and we had a super fun yet busy weekend! Jaycee had a competition on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. so we went down Friday morning hit, the opening day of Princess and the Frog, then went to the Mayan for her birthday dinner. The girls loved the fire/diving show! We got back Saturday night just in time to meet dad at the Bees basketball game. Wow......girls weekend can be exhausting yet so rewarding to be able to spend quality time with my little girlies. Jaycee did well at the competition and the team took home a 3rd place trophy. There was some tough competition there but they held their own. Did I mention how stinking cold it was all weekend???????? As Jaycee would say "it is fricken cold!"
