Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny and I had a talk, and decided that my children already eat wwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too much candy (the dentist agrees:) and so Jayc and Aynslee got a summer outfit, Sissy got a new swim suit and shoes that actually fit her ski-feet! Size 1 mind you, Jayc is still an 11. And my little Lainee bugs got a bumbo tray, new spoons (since she will be starting cereal soon) and extra binkies!!! We did, however, have a big Easter Egg Hunt down stairs..........Lainee tried to participate but is still not mobile (lol)

Can you tell that her dad dresses her in the mornings? She is sporting her Bee gear. She also has discovered her toes and talks to them often. Sometimes at her 5 am feeding, she would rather talk and play with her toes then go back to sleep, a minor disagreement we have had lately. She is still a super good baby and is extremely happy. I wish all of them were as easy as she is!

The girls and I haven't made it to very many games, due to the weather of course. And when we do go, Lainee and I get the box seats! Aynslee is daddy's girl and LOVES baseball, if it is too cold and I tell her we cannot go or Lainee will get sick she goes into one of her "I am two" screaming fits. Even though poor Joldy did not get a son, Aysnlee will sure fill those shoes. I don't think she will be a cheerleader, and that should save me quite a bit of money! If you gave her the choice of pom poms or a baseball glove..........definately a glove.

Entertainer of the year

Let me further explain this picture........First of all, those are Jaycee's cheer curlers in her hair. They are the coolest curlers ever. Anyways, as you all know baseball season is here........and I am a widowed wife! So Jaycee has become my entertainer for Lainee bugs so I can do housework and cook dinner. Lainee was fussing and I was trying to do the dishes and I yelled at Jaycee to please talk to Lainee so I could finish. Lainee stopped crying. So I finished and when I came in the room.....this is what I saw. I have no idea how Jayc managed to get her in that position, but she was super entertained so I have to objections. After this picture my camera died, but then I walked past the girls' bathroom to find Sicilee going to the bathroom with the door wide open. To make the situtation even funnier, she was playing the IPad. I just shook my head and mumbled something along the lines of "wow, you are soooooo your father." I got Lainee's ears pierced and by the forth kid I have it mastered. No really, I rubbed the teeth numbing gel on her earlobes and she didn't even cry. The sad thing is, she won't hold still long enough for me to take a picture. I have tried numberous times and failed. So I will just tell you that they are super cute :) I just changed out her 0-3 month clothes for 3-6 so we are growing like a weed. She is the happiest baby I have had yet, and lllloooooovvvvveeeesss cartoons. We put her in her bumbo to watch T.V. and she thinks she is so cool. She is up to 5 ounces every 4 hours and only wakes up at 3 for a bottle. I can't say that my tiredness is due to lack of sleep, maybe it is because I am getting old!!!! LOL We are heading to Boise for a baseball tourney and the girls are so exited to see Poppy and MeMe and Katie and her fam. I bought Tangled for the ride, the girls can hardly wait:)

Cheer Nationals

The girls and I headed for Utah for nationals. My Jaycers took 4th and Sissy took 2nd. It is so funy because Jaycee gets sooooo disappointed when she doesn't always get first like last year. It is hard to teach your kid that you still performed great even if you don't take home a first place trophy. She is in the "mini" team and there is A LOT more competition. "Tiny" team basically looks cute and shakes their bums and they usually get a big standing ovation. And boy can Sissy shake her bum bum! It was a great girls weekend and we managed to get some shopping in, always a favorite of mine when hitting up Utah. Nickole and her husband have recently moved to Utah and so she got to see them perform. Nickole is their favorite and were so excited to hang with her for the weekend.

On another note, I couldn't be blessed with a better baby! She sleeps so good and is sooooooo content. A word that never existed with the previous 3. I finally took her for her shots and she has managed to slowly get out of the zero percentiles. So at 3 months and one week:
WEIGHT: 10.4 LBS = 6%
HEIGHT: 22.8 INCHES = 17%
HEAD: 14.1 = 1%

Once again, following in Jaycee's footsteps, spiked almost an instant fever which lasted for 5 days. Funny thing is, I caught the nasty flu bug and held the same fever right along with her for the week. It was like a flashback of my honeymoon........I was really sick. (those of you that know me well, I spent my honeymoon dying sick with the flu with my husband on a couch instead of on a cruise to Mexico) So Lainee got a lot of mommy snuggling except I had to do alot of washing of my hands and some serious hand sanitizer so she wouldn't catch my bug.

Her blue eyes are still holding strong and her clogged tear duct has finally cleared up. No more goop, yay! She smiles and tells her cute little high-pitched stories all day. She has Jaycee's smile, which comes from their father, same dimples and all. She has found her tongue, and is super interested in her hands and fingers. She is always holding her hands in front of her and going cross-eyed to stare at them. Her personality is blooming every day. We love her so much!

Snow Days

The girls have this great idea of playing out in the snow............

and about 5 minutes later, this is the result:

Mind you, after one minute Jo Jo knocked on the door because she had to go to the bathroom. So her time was significantly less:)

The Twins are here!!!!

Okay, okay the twins came over a week ago. I let Halley borrow my camera and my laptop. They arrived on 2-2-11 about fourty minutes apart and NATURALLY! Yay for Halley I am so proud of her. She went for a normal checkup and she was dialated to a 7 (what) and no her water still had not broken. So they sent her up to the hospital and they were here like 4 hours later! My girls had a cheer performance at Skyline High School so I frantically was calling cheer moms and friends to come do hair and make-up and get the girls off. I kept telling Halley to wait for me cuz I wanted to be there:) Right, like any woman would hold off for a sister. But I made it in time and Baby "A" Emmi came first weighing in at 5.9 lbs and 18 inches long and Baby "B" came feet first, Alli, weighing in at 6.1 lbs and 18.5 inches long. Alli has progressed much faster then little Emmi so Alli came home last night and Emmi will have to stay like 3-5 days more. Both are healthy, they just had the same problem my Lainee did. Didn't want to eat on their own.

This one is little Emmi..........I only know this because she has more hair the Alli:)

This is little Alli.......she loves to snuggle with her Aunt Meggan!

My little Lainee bug is getting so big! So bittersweet. I am not a big fan of rushing the first shots, especially with a preemie.....the poor girl doesn't even have meat on her thighs yet. So I don't have any stats, but she is growing......slowly. She reminds me of Jaycee with everything! She is a noisy eater, sleeper, pooper, burper, hiccuper, she grunts and stretches and moans and groans all day and night long. She gets the hiccups every time she burps cuz she is stretching and making noises. Not a big eater though, I think it bores her. Complete opposite of the last two chunks. I think she is mad at me for not nursing her anymore, a milk strike :) She is only eating 2-3 ounces still, our chunky cousin Christian is up to 6 oz and barely makes it 3 hours. I am on the tail-end of pumping only twice a day since I started back up with work this week. I usually don't have a hard time emotionally giving up nursing, but with this being our last, I am having a hard time letting go of it. I don't get emotional much, but this little sweet baby has got me quite a few times. We both are sad but doing well with the change. She does well at night.....only waking up once for a bottle, doesn't cry much but we still get in some serious quality time with changing diapers, waiting out the darn hiccups, and burping. She sleeps with me (bad habit, I know) but as long as we are getting sleep I don't mind. She has a clogged tear duct so her eye is really goopy all the time. Finally graduated from newborn clothes and diapers and we have moved on the the 0-3 month clothes.

I turned the big 29 last week and while Joldy and I were out for dinner Nickole watched ALL 4 kiddos and was able have the girls help her make this fabulous (Jo Jo was the sprinkler if you can't tell) cake and homemade cards that each of them wrapped themselves. So priceless ;)
Aynslee is killing me lately with her vocabulary. A few of the latest fav quotes: "you not my best buddy anymore", "dad, can I play your ipad" "you need your phone to text?" "mommy....I your favorite" "I don't want to be big!"
SSSOOOOO....my poor sister Halley who is pregnant with twins...................IS STILL PREGNANT! She will be 37 weeks tomorrow and is measuring like 54 cm. YIKES! She is pretty miserable, I feel for her. So when she finally does have them I will post:)

Utah Cheer Trip

The girls had another competition in Utah this last weekend. There were at least 10 teams in each of their divisions, Jayc took 4th and Sis took 2nd. I must say it was smoldering hot in that gym and way too many people! I ended up taking the layers I had put on Lainee off because it was even too hot for a baby. Joldy took one for the team and joined me on this competition. I usually have him stay home with Aynslee, but we made it a family effort.

Jaycee is so competitive and forgets to smile because she is trying to do such a good job, but this time she smiled the whole time and enjoyed herself.

We are F-A-M-I-L-Y

It is a such rare occasion to have the WHOLE family get together, but we did it. It is so fun for all the cousins to get to play with eachother, but most of all, MY SISTERS!

The growing number of grandkids totaling 11...........and all of the sisters. We were not so happy cuz 2 of us just had babies and 2 are pregnant, so the chubby sisters ;)

While the adults were playing games, Sicilee got a scrape on her leg and the girls played doctor. We were impressed with the amount of band-aids and neosporin they used.

While the girls played doctor, they boys were interested in the nintendo DS. Girls will be girls and boys will be boys I guess.

Halley's twins are being tough and hanging in there. They did better on the stress test and one even turned head down so the docs are thinking she might not have to have a c-section. She is measuring 45 cm! YIKES! The babies had a big growth spurt and are both nearing the 6 lb mark. WHHAAHOOO.

Cousin Love

Introducing Christian James George.............weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches long! What a chunky big boy :) He towers over my little Lainee. He was born January 31 via c-section after laboring for 12 long hours with no epidural.......poor Nickole! He looks just like Roman but with brown hair and brown eyes. He is such a sweet boy.

This is as close as Joldy is going to get with having a boy.........being a good uncle:)

My little Lainee bug is changing so fast, and we thought she was getting big until Nickole brought her baby to my house so we could be on maternity leave together! Then she didn't look so big.

So at six weeks difference in age, Lainee is still the runt.

Christian's first bath.............yes poor kid in a pink bath and he hangs out in a pink bouncer all day. He is SUCH a good baby! Doesn't make a peep and eats like a champ (poor Nickole.... although she does produce a bigger dairy then me! Her first pump after her milk came in was 13 ounces....WHAT?!) Yes, my house is literally a dairy now..haha.

Halley's twins are at 35 weeks and I am so thankful that she has kept them in this long. She is pretty uncomfortable and one of them ,sadly, is not passing the stress test. She has a doc appointment tomorrow and if her heart rate is still too high then they will take them c-section tomorrow night. So yes, 4 BABIES. We are all CRAZY! Also, my baby sister Chelcey just announced that she is preggers and due on July 11! Chelcey's baby will make 14 grandbabies...whew we are such busy little mommas.
