My Crazy Girls!!

Jaycee
Is it really bad when your own child out smarts you 99% of the time? Nothing gets past this child, I actually have two of the funniest quotes by her lately:
Me: "Jayc, hurry and clean up we have to go; come on hurry"
Jaycee: "MOOOM, I don't have a hurrin' muscle!"
Me: "Jayc, just get it out of your head we are not going."
Jayc: "SSmmaaac (right accross her forehead)
Me: "What in the hec are you doing"
Jayc: "I am getting it out of my head like you said mom"
They say that a child around her age asks around 200 questions a day, she exceeds that by far. Although she has a VERY sassy attitude and I hate every minute of it, it also gives me relief knowing that she will go far in life and not take crap from anyone.
Sicilee
She is the most sensitive, silly, most clumsy child you have ever met. There isn't a meal that she doesn't spill or knock over something at least once, trip over absolutely nothing, or cry on a regular basis because her sister is being mean or bossy. She also makes you feel really special in a split second. Always telling us she loves us at random moments and whispering in our ears that each of us are her FAVORITE. Life wouldn't be the same without this one!
Ayslee
My sweet little Jo Jo. Very happy from the second she wakes up at the butt crack of dawn, and ever since she has had her ear infections doesn't care for sleep at night or during the day. No teeth yet, so can't blame it on that! Very close to crawling, but still very mobile. Has learned to blow spit bubbles especially while eating, and finds it very funny to pull off her socks and head bands which are usually on her for about three minutes! She still has about two blow-outs a day (which just means there is a lot of laundry going on a my house) I think she just saves number 2 for all at once.....twice a day! Starting on finger foods, she loves the little dissolving cereal....and thinks that if someone is drinking a pop that she should get some too! Growing like a weed and soaking in every tender, loving, exhausting moment!!!
I really do love being a mom, it is hard and it is work, but it is worth every second of it!!!!

Happy Birthday Halley!

This is my crazy sister Halley, who is a Twilight fanatic with me. So for her birthday I got her a Twilight sweatshirt and tote bag. And yes her husband rolled his eyes and shook his head because we were so stinkin excited over such a silly thing once again! (You can tell by the pics that the anitcipation of her opening her gift was almost unbearable for me!) Of course my mother gets her this huge scrapbooking display that she bought clear back around Thanksgiving and has been so excited to give it to her...........and she is most excited about my gift and blows mom's gift off (sorry mom, mines just better He He!) Just kidding! But really this is a HUGE shout out to my sister, my best friend, my sanity, my daycare center, my scrapbooking buddy, vinyl buddy, and my shoulder to lean on!!!! So H-O-L-L-A to you Halley, I hope you had a good Birthday (even though you had to watch my kids all day:) Love Ya!
We had a family dinner on Sunday for her b-day and she wanted to be in charge of the drinks and she made these amazing pomegranate-blueberry limades that were absolutley fabulous!

OOOH, SOOOOO CLOSE!

Here is little Jo Jo being such a wiggle worm and trying so stinkin hard to crawl. It's like she doesn't understand that in her head she is going places, but her body just doesn't move like she wants it to!

......then she pokes her little bum in the air out of frustration......rolls over.........and whines because she is still in the same spot!

(this is my poor watery eyed, drooling from not being able to breathe baby girl)
We took a trip to the Doctor on Saturday...it always makes you feel like a terrible mom when the doc looks at you and says "Wow, she has two ear infections and a sinus infection....how long has she been like this?" Yep, I think that with the first child you tend to run to the doc for every little sniffle and stress out when they have to get antibiotics. Not so much with the children after that. You always think, aaahh it's just a cold she will get over it! Bad mom award goes to me!!! I guess I get what I deserve because the last two nights have been VERY sleepless and exhausting. The crazy part is whether I get 2 hours or 8 hours of sleep, I still seem to have the same energy. Maybe it's a mom thing????????

My Snow Babies!

My girls beg me daily if they can go play out in the snow. Most parents are like, Yay go ahead get out of the house! Not me. It takes us about 20 minutes just to get them dressed and find the right gear (you know tink hat with minnie gloves, HSM scarf with matching boots) Those of you with girls REALLY understand, pure drama. Then they make it outside for about three minutes tops because their hands are cold and they can't walk in the hard snow. Then they come in crying, drop off all their gear at the door and curl up to watch a cartoon. So like I said, never that excited when I finally say yes, just a lot of work! Well anyway, is a picture of the whole three minutes of them enjoying snow(for the record, Sicilee only last 2 minutes)

Out on the town with Poppy!!

My dad came into town on business again this week, so we decided to try out the ol' famous Red Robin for dinner. For knowing a little about the restaurant business, I was very impressed! Food and service was great, and the kids loved the balloons for entertainment!

I was trying to get a pic of Joldy trying to bite his "monster" burger, but he caught me so he wouldn't.

This is Chelcey shoving food in her face, aaaahhh I bet your chair creeked when you were all done!!!!(This is my sister who endlessly makes fun of my chubby baby)
This is Jo Jo wanting "real food" and thinking that she really is going to get it!!

And this is quality time with Poppy!!!!

And my little Carter buddy just being good as always Aynslee enjoying the newest discovery of how fun balloons are!!

My little Valentines

Jaycee and Sicilee had their school Valentine's party...........so we decided to dress them for the occasion. Anyslee felt a little left out so we dressed her up too. They came home with lots of Valentine cards and candy. Crazy enough, Jaycee could read the names on the cards and knew exactly who gave her which one. Nothing really passes by her, Sicilee just kept saying candy over and over, and Aynslee liked eating the cards. My kids always find a way to enjoy the simpliest things in life!!

Lil' Stinker

Aynslee has been getting so frustrated lately because she wants to crawl so bad and hasn't quite figured it out. She can sure scoot backwards all over the house and will go from a sitting position to rocking back and forth on all fours until her wrists give out and she crushes her nose on the floor. Tough lil stinker!!!!

Pillow Pile!!

This is how the kids entertained themselves
while Halley and I did some vinyl. This is kind of a tradition when the cousins come over. They always pull all the pillows off my couch, jump on them, until usually one of them bonks heads or just plain misses the pillows!

Projects

I always have these projects I am working on and lately it is my hallway. My sister Halley gives me crap about not doing before and after pics, I just like the after ones. Recently, I have figured out how to do vinyl on my cricket and it is fabulous! Hard and time consuming but well worth it. So here are some pics of the recent ones, Halley came over on Sunday to help me with the feet one (luckily she is tall and could just stand on my stairs) The sayings are hard to see in the pics, SORRY! As soon as we master vinyl at my house we will move on to Halley's house. Silly that her and I get so excited over little things like this!

Are you ready for some Football!

Okay maybe I was more ready for the food and company rather than the game. Some of my sisters and their families came over and our friends the Postons joined us too. The cute little red-head in the picture is their little Hannah. Anyslee enjoyed her "doll" friend, and the kids played downstairs all day and didn't even fight. The Poston's have two little girls, one on the way, and good ol' Gunner. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food! I took some pics of Halley drooling while she slept through half of the game, but she got ahold of my camera and deleted them. They were worth a good laugh, I am disappointed I can't share them with you.
